Part 1, Gen. and Mme. Chiang Kai-shek meet with Adm. Mountbatten, Chiang Kai-shek addresses his soldiers, C-47s parachute supplies, Chinese soldiers fire rifles and mountain pack artillery, and Gen. Stilwell decorates Chinese soldiers. Part 2, an Essex-class aircraft carrier is launched. Part 3, in Washington, Pres. Roosevelt presents destroyer escort Senegalais to Free French Navy. Part 4, maps Marshall Islands in Pacific. U.S. Marines and soldiers debark from transports and land on beaches as warships fire artillery, and carrier aircraft bomb and strafe. Tanks land through the surf and Marines fire weapons. Shows dead Japanese, and wrecked aircraft hangers, aircraft, fortifications, and coast artillery.
